Simple Infused Balsamic Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of infused olive oil (your choice on dosage)
- 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
- 1 Shallot
- 1 Garlic Clove
- tablespoon of honey
- tablespoon of dijon mustard
- Optional salt, vinegar, and onion powder
Perfect as a quick dressing for salads and sandwiches, this infused balsamic dressing requires very little effort and will really bring out the flavor in your meal.
Directions
First, decarb your cannabis. (If you have the Ardent FX or Mini, use the A1 setting for THC-rich material and A2 setting for CBD-rich material.) Then, infuse 1/2 cup of olive oil, we prefer our koroneiki variety olive oil, into your decarbed material, either using a pan, or by placing the FX on the infuse setting and allowing it to run its cycle.
In a mason jar, combine the ½ cup of infused olive oil, ¼ cup balsamic vinegar, a finely chopped shallot and garlic clove, a tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon of dijon mustard, and some spices (such as salt, vinegar, and onion powder.) Close the lid tightly and shake it up until the flavors have mended.
Raspberry Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of fresh or frozen raspberries
- ½ cup of infused olive oil
- ¼ cup of red wine vinegar
- 1 Shallot
- teaspoon of dijon mustard
- dash of salt and pepper
- food processor
Directions
For this recipe, we’ll be utilizing the help of a food processor. Just as we did in the balsamic vinaigrette recipe, we’ll be infusing decarbed plant material into ½ cup of good quality olive oil.
Add fresh or 1 ½ cups of fresh or frozen raspberries, your infused olive oil, ¼ cup of red wine vinegar, one finely chopped shallot, a teaspoon of dijon mustard, and a dash of salt and pepper to the food processor and allow the mixture to puree for about 30 seconds.
Honey Dijon Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- ¼ cup of infused EVOO
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard
- ¼ cup of white onion
- Optional salt and pepper
Directions
To make honey dijon vinaigrette, we’ll need to prepare ¼ cup of infused EVOO. Add 3 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard, and ¼ of a finely diced white onion. Salt and pepper to your liking and enjoy.
