  • Add decarbed flower to the oil and place in the Nova for infusion

  • Strain the oil to remove the flower and add to your Caramel

Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. Decarboxylate your flower in the Nova.
  2. Put the decarbed flower and oil into the glass bottle and mix. Place the bottle into the Nova for a second cycle to infuse.
  3. Once the infusion cycle is complete, remove the bottle and strain the oil by pouring through the screen and funnel.
  4. Skewer your apples so they’re ready to dip. Set aside.
  5. Line a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper. Set aside.
  6. Mix the caramel and infused oil in a small saucepan and warm over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring constantly (bubbling sauce is good, be careful it doesn’t stick and burn). Once you can make thick ribbons with your spoon, the caramel is ready to use.
  7. Remove the caramel from heat and dip the apples in the warm caramel. for extra crunch, you can dip the coated apples into chopped nuts, toffee bits, crushed graham crackers, pretzel bits, or anything else you can think of. Allow the caramel apples to cool and harden on the wax paper, then enjoy!
